About

Lindy Fors, MEd, MACP, CCC
Registered Clinical Counsellor.

“Every story holds strength. My work is about helping you uncover yours and move forward with confidence and care.”

Hi, I’m Lindy, a Canadian Certified Counsellor with master’s degrees in Counselling Psychology and Education. I’m passionate about helping people create meaningful change in their lives through practical, evidence-based support.

Over the years, I’ve worked with children, youth, adults, and families in both educational and clinical settings. My experience also includes collaborating with Indigenous communities, where I’ve learned the importance of trauma-informed, community-centred care rooted in truth and reconciliation.

In my practice, I draw from several therapeutic approaches—including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)—to meet you where you are. I’m also certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence-based intervention for trauma and PTSD, and have specialised experience in bullying prevention and trauma recovery.

I support clients navigating a wide range of challenges, including autism, ADHD, anxiety, chronic pain, relationship stress, and life transitions. I also offer adult autism assessments using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and provide individualized interventions to support both family dynamics and academic success.

At the heart of my work is compassion and flexibility. I aim to create a space where you can feel understood, supported, and empowered to move toward lasting change. Together, we’ll focus on building resilience, finding clarity, and working toward the life you want to live.
